2. Scope

These Terms & Conditions govern the use of soundandlights.eu, including:

• Professional audio and lighting equipment rental services.
• Purchase of products through our online shop (powered by WooCommerce).
• Any other services offered through this website.

By using this website or placing an order, you agree to these terms.

3. Rental Terms

3.1 Booking & Confirmation

Rental bookings are made via our quote form, WhatsApp, Telegram, phone, or email. A booking is confirmed only after we send written confirmation (email or message) and, where applicable, receive the agreed deposit.

3.2 Rental Period

The standard rental unit is 24 hours. Multi-day rentals receive a 50% discount on days 2 and beyond, as shown by our rental calculator. The rental period starts at the agreed delivery or collection time.

3.3 Deposit

We may require a security deposit before releasing equipment. The deposit amount depends on the total value of rented equipment and will be communicated at booking confirmation. The deposit is refunded in full upon return of equipment in the same condition.

3.4 Responsibility & Damage

• The client is responsible for all rented equipment from the moment of delivery or collection until the moment of return.
• Equipment must be used for its intended purpose and in accordance with any instructions provided.
• The client is liable for any damage, loss, or theft during the rental period. Repair or replacement costs will be deducted from the deposit or invoiced separately.
• Normal wear and tear is accepted.

3.5 Cancellation (Rentals)

• More than 7 days before the event: full refund of any deposit paid.
• 3–7 days before the event: 50% of the deposit is retained.
• Less than 3 days before the event: the full deposit is retained.

3.6 Delivery & Collection

Delivery and collection within Ibiza can be arranged. Delivery charges depend on location and will be quoted at booking. The client must ensure safe and accessible loading/unloading conditions.

4. Online Shop (Sales)

4.1 Pricing

All prices are displayed in Euros (€) and include IVA (VAT) where applicable. We reserve the right to update prices at any time; however, confirmed orders will be honoured at the price shown at the time of purchase.

4.2 Payment

Payment is processed securely through our payment gateway at checkout. We accept the payment methods displayed during checkout. We also accept cryptocurrency — contact us for details.

4.3 Order Confirmation

After placing an order, you will receive an email confirmation. This email constitutes a binding contract. If we are unable to fulfil your order, we will notify you and issue a full refund.

4.4 Shipping & Delivery (Sales)

Delivery times and costs are shown at checkout. We are not responsible for delays caused by the shipping carrier. Risk of loss passes to the buyer upon delivery.

5. Right of Withdrawal (EU Consumers)

Under EU Directive 2011/83/EU, you have the right to withdraw from an online purchase within 14 calendar days of receiving the goods, without giving a reason. See our Refund & Returns Policy for the full procedure.

The right of withdrawal does not apply to rental services that have already been fully performed or to custom/personalised orders.

6. Limitation of Liability

• Our total liability for any claim arising from rental or sale shall not exceed the amount paid by the client for that specific booking or order.
• We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages (e.g. event cancellation costs, lost revenue).
• We are not responsible for noise complaints, venue restrictions, or power supply issues at the client's event location.

7. Intellectual Property

All content on this website — including text, images, logos, design, and code — is owned by Sound And Lights Professional Services SRL or used under licence. You may not reproduce, distribute, or modify any content without our written consent.

8. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of Spain. Any dispute shall be submitted to the courts of Ibiza (Illes Balears), unless EU consumer protection rules provide otherwise.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top reflects the latest revision. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of any changes.
